Once upon a time, little McDull dreamed of eating a big golden turkey at Christmas. But McMum always said,
“Just the two of us—how to finish it?”
One year, McMum finally bought a turkey. McDull was thrilled! On Christmas Eve, they had a grand feast.
For a whole week, McDull had turkey sandwiches every morning and still smiled.
But one day, McDull said, “Mum, can we go for dim sum?”
McMum replied,
“You’re just wasting good food on yourself!”
From then on, the turkey kept changing form: shredded turkey fried rice, turkey hotpot, turkey porridge.
Even during the Dragon Boat Festival, McDull bit into his favourite rice dumpling—only to find turkey inside.
He cried. The turkey had become a curse.
The next day, he discovered McMum had quietly thrown away the rest.
The turkey had lasted nearly half a year.
That day, McDull’s dream and nightmare ended together.
Even as he grew up, McDull would sometimes remember the taste of that turkey.

《吃不完的火雞》
從前從前，小豬麥兜一直夢想喺聖誕節食一隻又香又脆嘅火雞。但麥太總係話：
「得我哋兩個，買咁大隻點食得哂呀？」
直到有一年，麥太終於破例買咗一隻火雞。麥兜開心到跳起！平安夜嗰晚，佢哋開心咁開餐。之後成個星期，麥兜都食火雞三文治當早餐，仲食得津津有味。
直到有一日，麥兜忍唔住話：「媽咪，我哋去飲茶好唔好呀？」
麥太望住佢，淡淡地回應：
「冇衣食阿你！」
由嗰日開始，火雞日日變身：撕炒火雞飯、火雞煲、火雞粥……
直到端午節，麥兜食住佢最鍾意嘅粽，咬落一啖，竟然又係火雞肉——佢忍唔住喊咗出嚟。火雞，變成咗一個逃唔掉嘅詛咒。
第二日，麥兜發現麥太偷偷將火雞掉咗——原來，佢哋已經食咗差唔多半年。
就喺嗰一日，麥兜嘅美夢同惡夢，一齊完結。
直到長大之後，麥兜間唔中都會諗起果陣火雞嘅味道。
