Я — простой человек, как все,
На Земле в этот миг живущие,
Рада солнцу, ветрам и росе,
Беспокоюсь за наше грядущее.
Только много ли мне дано?
Я не вправе узнать свободы,
Жизнь, как старое домино:
Насылает на нас невзгоды.
Я не вправе правду сказать,
Дёрнуть за руку явного вора,
Я не вправе даже мечтать,
Ведь мечты стали частью позора.
Я мечтаю о мире без лжи,
Без войны и без голода тоже,
Только эти мечты — миражи,
Никогда не сбывались, похоже.
Я простой гражданин страны,
Я люблю свою землю и близких,
Почему же с другой стороны
Мне приходят законы о жизни?
Все под небом ходим одним,
Всем нужна и свобода, и воля,
Только кто-то сильней одержим,
Хочет золота, власти, контроля.
Что же делать людям простым,
Если скованы жгучей неволей?
Надо верить, что каждый любим
Этим Небом, Богом и долей*.

I AM A SIMPLE MAN
I am a simple man, like everyone else,
There are people living on Earth at this moment,
I am glad to see the sun, winds and dew,
I’m worried about our future.
But how much have I been given?
I have no right to know freedom,
Life is like an old domino:
It sends adversity upon us.
I have no right to tell the truth,
To pull the hand of an obvious thief,
I have no right to even dream,
After all, dreams have become part of the shame.
I dream of a world without lies,
Without war and without hunger too,
Only these dreams are mirages,
They never came true, it seems.
I am a simple citizen of the country,
I love my land and my loved ones,
Why am I being told from another country,
how I should live?
We all walk alone under the sky,
Everyone needs both freedom and will,
Only someone is more obsessed,
He wants gold, power, control.
What should simple people do
If they are bound by burning bondage?
We must believe that everyone is loved,
We are loved by Heaven, God and fate.
